Teaching & learning
The LISD Teaching & Learning Department is dedicated to providing the instructional support, learning experiences and resources needed to realize high-quality teaching and learning as represented in Leander ISD’s Learning Model.
The LISD Learning Model serves as a framework to keep us constantly focused on student learning. In its entirety, our Learning Model depicts how the district, campus and classroom work in concert to achieve a focus on student learning.

The LISD Goals are:
1) Maximize academic growth for each student.
2) Prepare each student for college and career success.
3) Inspire the whole child.
