Our Mission
The mission of the Division of Human Resources is to recruit and retain the most talented and qualified candidates who will make significant contributions to the education and support of students in Alachua County Public schools. The Division of Human Resources is committed to providing effective, efficient, and responsive services to applicants, district employees, and the public.

Our Community
Community support is crucial to the success of Alachua County Public Schools. The district boasts more than 378 partnerships with local businesses and organizations which provide about $2.9 million worth of resources to our schools annually. More than 22,000 volunteers contribute more than 722,000 hours of service to our schools and students each year. The district also has outstanding relationships with the University of Florida and Santa Fe College which provide unique educational opportunities for students in our community.
