ABOUT US

The Hunter College School of Education prepares students to become deeply thoughtful, knowledgeable, and highly effective teachers and counselors. In classroom settings and in the field, School of Education students learn to work with a wide range of diverse learning needs in New York City. Students graduate from Hunter, become certified, and work in a variety of settings across the city.

Counseling programs: Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling

Teacher Certification programs: Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, Adolescent Education, Creative Arts, Special Education, TESOL, Bilingual Education, Computer Science Education

Research and Special Education: Applied Behavior Analysis, Educational Psychology
