OUR DIVERSITY, EQUITY & SOCIAL JUSTICE

Being inclusive is one of Northfield Mount Hermon’s founding principles and distinct traditions. OUR TEACHER RECRUITMENT

Teaching interns are fully involved in all aspects of the Summer Session experience, and the program for interns is very demanding of their time, talents, and energy. It is designed as an introduction to the teaching profession, especially in the private boarding school environment, with a combination of responsibilities that include teaching, coaching, and residential life.

Our faculty respect and promote hard work and collaboration. We educate the head, heart, and hand of each student, and we lead by example, playing many roles at NMH in addition to teaching, as coaches, advisors, and mentors. We are a diverse group of educators who love what we do and are committed to our own continued learning.
