The Abington Board of School Directors recognizes the importance of diversity and of having qualified minority and under-represented classes of professionals in administrative, teaching, extra duty positions, and support employee positions. Employees receive a general orientation to the Abington School District upon employment. A comprehensive employee benefits overview is offered to each employee upon hire or at the conclusion of the probationary period, if applicable.
