James Mitchell Young
ABOUT
Mr. James Mitchell “Mitch” Young has been an educator for over twenty years. He has held various roles within the Forsyth County Schools and began serving as the Deputy Superintendent on June 1, 2021. Prior to joining the school system, he worked as a social studies teacher and varsity basketball coach in the Gwinnett County School System. Mr. Young has a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and a master’s degree from the University of Georgia. He is also active in community service and is a member of the Rotary Club of Forsyth County.
