ABOUT

Dr. Calvin J. Watts is the superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) in Georgia. He has a strong focus on empathy, equity, and excellence in education. Before joining GCPS, he served as superintendent of Kent School District in Washington. Dr. Watts has a dedication to reaching and teaching all students. He aims to engage more people in the work of the school district and has initiated several committees and teams to achieve this goal.
