Superintendent Maggie Niedzwiecki has over 30 years of experience in education and became superintendent in July 2021 after serving as Lakewood’s assistant superintendent for three years. She has led the District through Strategic Planning and the development of the District’s Vision of a Lakewood Graduate and Educator, as well as expanding STEM opportunities through Makerspace classrooms and Project Lead the Way. Additionally, she is involved in various educational affiliations and professional learning communities. Prior to joining Lakewood Schools, she served in various educational roles.
