Mr. Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Providence College, a Masters degree in Education, and a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies from UMASS Boston. He started his career as a counselor for the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission and later joined Keefe Tech in the 1996-1997 school year as a Guidance Counselor intern. Over the past 28 years at Keefe Tech, he has held various roles including Guidance Counselor, Guidance and Admissions Director, Director of Student Services, and Principal. For the last decade, Mr. Evans has been serving as the Superintendent.

 In addition to his work at Keefe Tech, Mr. Evans has been active in various organizations, including serving as the President of the Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators. He has also been a member of the Metrowest Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Mass Bay Community College Board of Trustees.

Aside from his professional commitment to career and technical education, Mr. Evans is also a proud parent of three graduates of a career and technical high school.
