ABOUT

Before working in Oswego, Calvin served as the superintendent of the Wayne and Stockbridge Valley school districts in upstate New York. He has also worked as a special education teacher, principal, and director of pupil personnel. Additionally, he has received leadership awards from the University of Rochester, St. John Fisher University, and the Rochester City School District.

During his 12 and a half years as superintendent, he gained valuable experiences working and discovered that the work of shaping students’ lives and meeting their educational needs is very important. As a superintendent, he found that he can make a meaningful difference in the lives of both students and adults by ensuring they have the resources they need.
