Brian Kingsley, with 24 years of experience in public education, became the superintendent of Poudre School District in July 2021. Since then, he has been working on a district strategic plan rooted in priorities of literacy, mental health, school safety, and graduation options. Before joining PSD, Kingsley served as the chief academic officer of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. He believes in the power of public education to positively shape students’ lives. Kingsley holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. He looks forward to many more years of collaboration to enhance the community.
