Since our founding in 1890, Illinois Tech has focused on preparing the next generation of engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and innovators. As the only tech-focused university in the city of Chicago, Illinois Tech over more than 60+ graduate programs in STEM, business, architecture, design, and law. Our graduates have gone on to make significant contributions- from the cell phone to Alexa, our alumni change the course of human history.

OUR FELLOWSHIPS
Nate Thomas Public Service Scholarship
The Nate Thomas Scholarship recognizes our commitment to increase the number of African-American, Latinx, and Native American students seeking graduate education in STEM and related disciplines. The award is up to $15,000 which can be used over the first two semesters of study of an Illinois Tech master’s program. Nate Thomas Scholars also benefit from additional mentoring, networking, career development support from university alumni and corporate partners.
