1. The Leander Way: Build, Think, Create 
   Leander ISD uses Guiding Documents, including The Leander Way, to shape decision-making and instruction, while always keeping the focus on student learning. 
2. Culture of Continuous Improvement
   Leander ISD holds an annual Continuous Improvement Conference, where teachers and staff present ideas and tips they have learned, supporting all employees with ongoing professional learning.
3. Exceptional Staff
   Leander ISD prides itself on having innovative teachers and staff who identify themselves as risk-takers and lifelong learners with a passion for supporting students.

   The city of Leander tops the list of “Best Places to Raise a Family in Texas” (SmartAsset.com). In a national ranking of “Best Small Cities for Families” (NerdWallet.com), Leander and Cedar Park came in No. 3 and No. 8, respectively.

   Leander ISD embodies a supportive, growth-mindset culture where our teachers collaborate through high-functioning PLCs, where they have the support of instructional coaches at every campus, and where our new-to-profession teachers receive additional support through our mentor program.
